Director - Consulting Services

Summit

Caleb partners with public sector organizations to design Salesforce platforms that are thoughtful, sustainable, and built to serve people well over time. With 12 years in the ecosystem and 18 Salesforce certifications earned, Caleb brings deep experience in enterprise architecture, org health, and governance. He enjoys helping teams slow down just enough to make good long-term decisions – balancing immediate needs with the kind of design that still makes sense years later.

Colleagues appreciate his ability to translate complex technical tradeoffs into practical, human conversations. Whether advising on large-scale transformations or refining the details of a build, Caleb cares about clarity, stability, and systems that genuinely support the work they’re meant to enable.

Outside of work, he’s the father of a spirited two-year-old and is and avid board game player who appreciates good strategy, clean systems, and the occasional dramatic comeback

Apex: The Salesforce Boogeyman

For many teams, the word *customization* immediately raises concerns about risk, technical debt, and long-term maintenance. Apex often becomes the symbol of that fear — the moment when a Salesforce solution feels like it’s crossing a line.
This session reframes that reaction. We’ll explore how business logic lives inside the platform, what responsible customization actually looks like, and when structured engineering decisions reduce risk instead of creating it. We’ll also touch on how modern AI tools are changing the landscape, lowering the barrier to well-written code and reshaping how teams think about programmatic solutions.
If “customization” feels like a red flag in your org, this talk aims to bring clarity to the conversation — and a more confident framework for decision-making.
