Brittaney Carter has dedicated her career to the timely delivery of real solutions using enabling technologies. Her ability to see transformative opportunities has afforded organizations she works for the ability to grow and extend its capabilities, delivering solutions to internal and external customers. She has served in multiple technology executive positions, including her most recent role as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the City of Atlanta. In that role, she led the Office of Innovation, Application Development, Service Delivery as well as Infrastructure. Prior to the CTO role, she served as the Assistant CIO at the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. She has worked in the private sector as well, holding positions across multiple industries.


Brittaney is passionate about people leadership and creating a positive culture that enables growth, trust, and collaboration. She considers these to be fundamental building blocks for success. In her “spare time” she enjoys her family, working out, and being creative. She is an advocate for the human trafficking crisis, has served on multiple boards, and maintains a vision for helping those who need it the most.
