Ohio Department of Natural Resources
Drew Buenger is the Chief Information Officer for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) where he oversees infrastructure, application development, data analytics, GIS, AI, and field services. Drew spearheaded ODNR's first Data Analytics and AI department, established its agency-wide AI task force, and led the delivery of a suite of cross-divisional Salesforce applications. He practices an "inverted pyramid" leadership philosophy that empowers teams and shifts decision-making closest to the user to drive sustainable technological change.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends.
